The Recon 360º Faucet:

Just attach the Recon 360º faucet to your favourite jerry can†† via the Quick Connect adapter kit, and let it flow. With a built in rechargeable lithium battery, the Recon 360º dispenses up to 150L on a single charge and the design rotates a full 360º, so filling is easy and the hose won’t kink or tug the faucet off your jerry can or table. Turn on with the tap of a finger to fill water bottles, rinse pots, or brush teeth, and it turns off automatically so you don’t waste water. It also features a built-in LED light under the spout to make low light use a breeze.

Tap the top with a finger and it’s on, with dual-flow options—it’s self-powered so there’s no wrestling with knobs or handles. The Recon 360º pump includes a food grade hose, BPA free components, USB-C charge cable, metal adhesive mounting kit and a mesh storage bag to keep everything tidy.

We've used our Dometic pump in a variety of setups including mounted magnetically right on top of the can (via the supplied adhesive metal base), or remotely on a table top of even in a vehicle or drawer setup with the metal mount base supplied. It especially makes for a stylish and tidy, yet very simple water solution for basic van builds and overland vehicle builds. It's simply a beautifully designed and rugged piece of kit.

The Jerry Max Adapter with Quick Connect Core:

The other key part of this combo package is the Jerry Max 58mm Screw Cap and Quick Connect Core. The quick connect fitting allows maximum ease of use when connecting and disconnecting your pump from your jerry can. The CPC-style fitting in the cap includes an internal valve so when the hose is disconnected, the valve closes and seals off your water port. Connect the hose back in and the water can flow again. The male and female ends lock together tightly when joined for a nice firm connection. To release, simply press the light blue button on the cap toward the centre of the fitting, and the male end/pump hose will be released. 

And because the Jerry Max adapter allows you to leave the heavy jerry can at ground level, there's no more lifting a heavy water can up onto your camp table or struggling to tip the jerry can to try and pour out some water, all while spilling water all over camp. 

We recommend using the ProQuip Wide Mouth 18L or 22L jerry cans with this kit as they feature a rugged design, and include a separate breather cap on the can to allow air to enter the can as water exits and prevent collapsing the can or damaging the pump. 

There are many other 58mm jerry cans sold around Australia that can also work with this kit, but if yours doesn't have a breather cap on it, just be sure to loosen the Jerry Max cap slightly when in use to allow the can to vent. 

You can also choose to add a Jerry Max Flexible Upper Cap to this kit to be used to cover the cap/quick connect when not in use, to further protect the components from the elements.
