The Jerry Max Adapter with Quick Connect:

The other key part of this combo package is the Jerry Max 58mm Screw Cap and Quick Connect Core. The quick connect fitting allows maximum ease of use when connecting and disconnecting your pump from your jerry can. The CPC-style fitting in the cap includes an internal valve so when the hose is disconnected, the valve closes and seals off your water port. Connect the hose back in and the water can flow again. The male and female ends lock together tightly when joined for a nice firm connection. To release, simply press the light blue button on the cap toward the centre of the fitting, and the male end/pump hose will be released. 

And because the Jerry Max adapter allows you to leave the heavy jerry can at ground level, there's no more lifting a heavy water can up onto your camp table or struggling to tip the jerry can to try and pour out some water, all while spilling water all over camp. 

We recommend using the ProQuip Wide Mouth 18L or 22L jerry cans with this kit as they feature a rugged design, and include a separate breather cap on the can to allow air to enter the can as water exits and prevent collapsing the can or damaging the pump. 

There are many other 58mm jerry cans†† sold around Australia that can also work with this kit, but if yours doesn't have a breather cap on it, just be sure to loosen the Jerry Max cap slightly when in use to allow the can to vent.

The kit also includes a Jerry Max Flexible Upper Cap to cover the cap/quick connect when not in use, to further protect the components from the elements.
