This combo package includes the Jerry Max 58mm Screw Cap designed to fit popular wide-mount jerry cans† sold across Australia. Not sure if your jerry can is the right size? Check under the manufacturers supplied cap and it will likely say 58mm on it.

And because the Jerry Max adapter allows you to leave the heavy jerry can at ground level, there's no more lifting a heavy water can up onto your camp table or struggling to tip the jerry can to try and pour out some water, all while spilling water all over camp. 

We recommend using the ProQuip Wide Mouth 18L or 22L jerry cans with this kit as they feature a rugged design, and include a separate breather cap on the can to allow air to enter the can as water exits and prevent collapsing the can or damaging the pump. 

There are many other 58mm jerry cans sold around Australia that can also work with this kit, but if yours doesn't have a breather cap on it, just be sure to loosen the Jerry Max cap slightly when in use to allow the can to vent.

Please note: You will require a small section of 12mm (1/2") ID hose to connect to the bottom of the hand pump to draw water up from the bottom of the jerry can. The length of the hose will be determined by the size of your can but usually around 10-20cm long. You can typically find this type of hose at Bunnings, Clark Rubber, or a home brew store.
