The Basic One Button Pump:

This portable electric water pump delivers up to 1.6 litres of water per minute with a built-in 1200 mAh battery and Type-C USB charging.

 

It features food-grade components, and simple one button operation - push once to start the flow of water. Push again to stop the flow. The built in LED indicators illuminate red when charging and blue when dispensing water.

The Jerry Max Adapter Kit:

Another key part of this combo package is the Jerry Max 58mm Screw Cap designed to fit popular wide-mount jerry cans†† sold across Australia. Not sure if your jerry can is the right size? Check under the manufacturers supplied cap and it will likely say 58mm on it.

And because the Jerry Max adapter allows you to leave the heavy jerry can at ground level, there's no more lifting a heavy water can up onto your camp table or struggling to tip the jerry can to try and pour out some water, all while spilling water all over camp. 

We recommend using the ProQuip Wide Mouth 18L or 22L jerry cans with this kit as they feature a rugged design, and include a separate breather cap on the can to allow air to enter the can as water exits and prevent collapsing the can or damaging the pump. 

There are many other 58mm jerry cans sold around Australia that can also work with this kit, but if yours doesn't have a breather cap on it, just be sure to loosen the Jerry Max cap slightly when in use to allow the can to vent. 

The combo also includes the Jerry Max® Flexible Upper Cap which is the interface between the pump and the screw cap. Made from TPU, the upper cap design is such that compatible pumps can be slid over the top of the flex cap for a nice tight friction fit. The flexibility of the TPU material allows for a variety of different pump styles to fit onto the cap (pumps typically used on water dispenser bottles). The cap also features an integrated pull tab to help keep the remove the flex cap from the pump when packing up the kit, or you can simply unscrew the whole assembly and store it ready to screw back on the next time. On top of the cap is a tethered dust plug that can be closed to prevent dirt and nasties from getting into your water can at camp when the pump is not installed(e.g. when charging).

You can also choose to add a Jerry Max Mesh Storage Bag to this kit to be used to store the pump and adapter when not in use. The nylon mesh drawstring bag is a great way to keep everything together for storage, while the open-knit design allows the components to fully air out when packed away.
